About Banker’s Desk
Banker’s Desk is an independent calculator platform built for employees of Indian public sector banks. It exists because salary, loan, tax, and retirement calculations for bank staff involve scheme-specific rules that generic calculators don’t handle — stagnation increments, staff loan phased repayment structures, PSU-specific leave encashment caps, and more.
How results are labeled
Every calculator on this site shows a status alongside its result, so you always know how much confidence to place in a number:
- Verified — confirmed against an official source.
- Pending Verification — implemented but not yet confirmed against a source.
- Estimated — best-effort based on incomplete or indirect sourcing.
- Projected — forward-looking, based on configurable assumptions rather than a finalized rule.
A projected or estimated figure is never shown with the same visual weight as a verified one.
Scope
Calculators currently cover salary and pay progression, staff housing and vehicle loans, overdraft facilities, income tax, and retirement benefits. The scope grows as new formulas are researched and verified.
